Specialty Representative - CHUM: Responsibilities include developing and executing Key Account Development strategies and business plans for physicians, pharmacies, hospitals and other relevant Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and accounts. The position requires overnight travel and some evening and weekend work. The geography of this position is mainly in Montreal area and requires 20 % travel. He/She optimizes all promotional resources by developing key opinion leaders and speakers. The Specialist Representative is assigned a specific territory and has to manage it and achieve sales quota and market share objectives. He/She is also responsible for developing key account strategic plans, new opportunities. The incumbent must also adhere to and implement Marketing Cycle priorities.
Skills/Experience Requirements • Bachelor degree completed • Basic CCPE and another one in the specialization of the products is mandatory • 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry interacting with specialists • Knowledge of the territory and customers Key Skills and Competencies • Proven successful sales track record; • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Self-driven, autonomous with exceptional initiative and leadership skills; • Strong presentation skills; • Ability to work as a member of a highly performing team; • Readiness to work occasional evenings or weekends (scientific meetings); • Strong business acumen • Analytical and strategic skills in order to develop strategic business plans • Strong customer focus both internal and external.
