The account manager promotes all Radiology & Interventional contrast products to targeted customers, implement promotional strategies as mandated, plan CHE activities, give corporate presentations and manage the allocated territorial budget, in order to achieve the territory sales objectives. Territory includes NS, NB, NFLD and Quebec City. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: - Actively promote M.R.I. contrast agents in the assigned territory - Accountable to secure existing accounts and gain incremental new business in targeted accounts in the territory - Manage all aspects of the tendering process in response to clients’ requests for proposals (RFP) including: mapping of account to identify decision makers and key influencers, develop, write, negotiate and present the proposal. - Maximize return on investment of CHE budgets, based on the business plan and marketing plan. - Develop, organize, maintain and monitor territory management tools and customer profile records. - Update all planning required in the territory to cope with changing conditions which influence territory objectives. - Schedule, conduct and analyze sales calls with decision makers and key product users from targeted hospitals. - Oversee contract management once a proposal is accepted: ensure payment of all rebates and no-charge goods, track and report sales to clients, delivery of contract commitments (i.e. audioconferences, education programs and research accounts). - Develop and implement a territory business plan.
Connaissances spécifiques
Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent - Minimum of four years’ experience as a sales representative in the medical device industry or in a related scientific industry - Knowledge of the hospital radiology and/or hospital purchasing environment - Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging products, an asset - Strong business acumen with the ability to link long-range visions and concepts to daily work - Being action oriented and demonstrate entrepreneurial-like behavior - Ability to establish solid relationships with decision makers, key influencers and key opinion leaders - Bilingual communication both written and spoken in French and English - Strong presentation skills - Strong negotiation skills - Willingness to travel.
