KAM – biopharmaceutical  Vancouver

· Responsible to develop, execute and update business plans for assigned territory,

including sales and communications objectives by customer.

· Work collaboratively with Medical, Marketing, Customer Care and Patient Services to

maximize commercial benefit of products in the market

· Foster strong and effective relationships with Canadian Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and

Centers of Excellence to advance company assets

· Influence and interact with academic and community specialists and clinic staff to meet

local patient needs

· Use appropriate sales techniques and processes, depending on market and strategy

· Differentiate and demonstrate product benefits and advantages and how they meet

customer needs

· Maintain and develop a level of expertise and service that adds value for the customer

(product knowledge, therapeutic area knowledge, selling skills)

· Allocate resources to maximize positive impact on the territory in cooperation with

Manager (including financial, time, medical, marketing, educational resources)

· Provide leadership on business improvement initiatives or special projects

· Provide training to team members

· Respect and adhere to ethical/legal/regulatory/Rx&D/company guidelines.

Connaissances spécifiques


· Minimum 5 years sales experience in pharma / biotech

· In-depth expertise in a specialty based therapeutic area

· Neurology experience would be an asset

· Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with internal and external partners including

Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders

· Must possess a good understanding of the Canadian Commercial environment

· Understanding of major account and account management strategies

· Excellent communication skills and consultative-selling skills

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
