Our client, a Montreal base Biopharmaceutical Company and a leader in his field, is seeking for a Business Unit Manager for the launch of a new product for the Canadian market. The candidate will provide leadership and will develop and implement strategy in conjunction with Marketing, Sales, CHE and Patients Advocacy group. Monitor and analyze sales activities against goals and work closely with Marketing and other departments to provide guidance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in launching new products and knows the hepatology market in Canada. Is an experienced sales leader, strategist and business builder. He/she has proven leadership, a track record in growing and developing accounts in the pharmaceutical industry. He/she is an articulate communicator who can interact at all levels of the organization and will be able to establish his/her credibility. The company seeks an outstanding hands-on candidate with strong business acumen. The successful candidate has the ability to move from the strategic level to the implementation effectively. Business acumen and influencing ability will be important in establishing credibility across the organization. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, confident, driven and articulate leader who interacts effectively at all levels of the organization, with an ability to forge high trust relationships. He/she will possess an optimal combination of the following: Providing strategic direction and guidance; in collaboration with other members of the team, prioritizing business objectives and initiatives to deliver maximum growth for the Canadian market. Working with the members of the executive team to ensure the effective development and execution of global division plans; establishing performance objectives; evaluate performance; and identify opportunities for growth and development; Providing support and direction to the team in the development and accomplishment of goals and action plans; create a continuous improvement environment.
