A pharmaceutical company based in Toronto is looking for a Drug Safety – Pharmacovigilance Associate.. He ( she ) will be responsible for all Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance functions pertaining to the Company products and will provide support to internal and external customers. Also he (she) will research and report medical information to the medical and marketing & sales departments, Develop the Medical Information database and practices, answer medical and pharmaceutical questions from internal and external parties, support of various department by means of advice and information via relevant sources.
Responsibilities will be Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information 60%, Drug Safety 20% and Support to Internal customers 20%.
Excellent conditions. This position is based in Toronto.
Specific knowledge
You have a Master or a Ph.D in pharmacology, physiology or pharmacy. You have knowledge of Respiratory diseases and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical organisation. Bilingualism English-French will be an asset. You must be service oriented, flexible and proactive, must have excellent questioning and listening skills with ability to analyse responses, be open and clear communicator and have analytical expertise in understanding complex issues and their consequences.
