Drug Safety Specialist- Contract

This Montreal based pharmaceutical company is looking for a Drug Safety Specialist. Your responsabilities would be the following: Process spontaneous adverse event reports on marketed products, Evaluate foreign spontaneous reports for expeditability to MHPD. Participate in training and implementation of local working procedures with Medical Information / DRA / Phase VI CROs/ Marketing Associates. Prepare montly reports Manage and process serious adverse events from post-marketing studies and patient registries.

The ideal candidate would have the following:B.Sc. in health sciences or related field (eg. Medical Doctor, nursing, pharmacy). 3-5 years’ experience in a Drug Safety Department or clinical research environment.Strong knowledge of medical/clinical terminology.Strong knowledge of Canadian regulations for reporting Adverse Drug Reactions.Highly organized with attention to details. Team player with good inter-personal skillsStrong computer skills.BilingualismRequired years of experience, Three - Five Years
