Under the supervision of the DFM
Forecasting analyst is responsible for developing and executing forecast/financial modeling for the Product Managers of his/her franchise of responsibility. The Analyst must have a strong knowledge of the business environment for his/her franchise through communication with the franchise BUM, Marketing Directors, product managers and commercial analysis managers and must objectively determine the impact of changing business conditions on the forecast process. The forecast function will be required to have a strong working knowledge of a number of other technical areas, including financial modeling, primary marketing research and secondary syndicated data sources.
