Marketing Director
Our client is introducing in Canada a brand new product and service for the Canadian hospital system. They are looking to fill this very important position for this start up company.
Under the direction of the President, the Director, Marketing is responsible to develop the overall vision of the brand and work with the PM team to develop multiple channel specific strategic goals to achieve the overall vision.
The Director, Marketing must ensure that there is a coordinated and aligned direction with all internal stakeholders that reflects the direction of the portfolio.
Overall responsibilities are to lead a team and to develop the overall strategic direction, tactical execution amongst multiple channels, financial reporting and accountability, product development, market intelligence, regulatory, pricing strategy, contract management, demand management, and medical community partnerships.
In addition to direct responsibilities, the position requires liaising to ensure capacity planning and operational effectiveness with all functional areas; production, quality assurance, logistics, customer service, finance, client relations, labeling, and public relations.
He/she recommends and presents required resources, builds and presents the Plan and Updates, prepares for the life cycle management of the portfolio. He/She must develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to develop brand influence. He coaches, develops and mentors the Marketing group to be productive in current role, while adequately preparing them for next step in their growth plan. Set the direction to ensure the organization capitalizes on the influence the hospital channel has in the retail environment. With the sales team, meet with executive members of the large buying groups to ensure strategic alignment and goal congruency. Ensure we have a strategic pricing plan that is consistent with like customers and plans are made to increase hospital share. Develop and maintain a strong institutional support model.
Specific knowledge
The preferred candidate will have a strong understanding of the Canadian Hospital market, the hospital Supply Chain and the C Suite personnel.
