Project Leader
Description
Site Project Leader: Reporting to the Strategic Management and Operational Excellence Director, the Site Project Leader will manage special side wide projects assigned. He will provide regular update on all actions items progress and commitments including fundings. He will work closely with the Quality Unit and Technical Operations teams and will be responsible for generating project plans with appropriate timelines, ressources, fundings and to manage these multidisciplinary project teams. Summary of tasks Direct and manage project development from beginning to end: Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders; Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents; Draft and submit proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary; Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and ensure the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle; Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team; Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path; Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements; Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management;
Specific knowledge
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering;
Certification or equivalent recognition in the field of project management Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.
Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years' experience in a project Management;
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry;
Experience in the GMP regulations;
Proficiency in spoken and written French and English;
Ability to create strategies and tactics with regards to potential projects and initiatives;
Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary group to achieve specific goals;
Self-starting, results-driven capacity for leadership and influence;
Recognized ability to meet tight deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
