Brand Manager – OTC pharmaceuticals
Description
Your main responsibilities will consist of the following: • Assist in the development of strategic and tactical plans • Lead development and implementation of key and innovative programs that fully ex-ploit the productsâs potential. • Monitor and control programsâ performances and adjust plans accordingly. • Follow the implementation of cycle promotion with field force, analyze feedback, and propose changes and improvements when necessary. • Communicate effectively within the organization to ensure the motivation and align-ment of sales force and other stakeholders to achieve product objectives. • Anticipate future trends in disease management and market environment which are likely to impact the performance and potential of the brand. • Liaise with 3rd party manufacturers and global marketing to develop new products and manage life-cycle of the products's portfolio • Prepare and monitor the implementation of an annual business plan. • Devise and recommend appropriate product strategies through the analysis of available data (sales reports, market data and marketing research reports). • Manage and direct the execution of brand retail strategies and tactics. • Interact with various departments and co-ordinate the activities relating to the pro-moted products. • Allocate and control product advertising and promotion budgets.
Specific knowledge
Education:University degree (business and/or health sciences).Years of experience:3-5 yearsLanguage:BilingualOther: â¢Minimum of 5 years in Pharmaceutical Sales or Marketing including 2 years in brand management.â¢Strong preference for candidates with an OTC background.â¢Act as a TEAM leader and ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, team spirit and self-motivation.â¢Ability to generate new concepts and ideas which improve understanding of a situation and/or create competitive advantage.â¢Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.â¢Knowledge of therapeutic market is an asset.â¢Strong planning/organizational skills.â¢Superior oral and written communication skills.
