Clinical Educator/Respiratory Sales Specialist Role Purpose: To provide customer education on the client products products, applications and benefits to ensure best possible patient outcomes, best clinical practice and sustained utilization of products to consistently meet or exceed sales targets for own region and to support the achievement of sales objectives throughout national business. Serves as National Clinical Educator. Clinical Educator Responsibilities (National)  Conduct visits to build relationships with existing and prospective customers and promote the client products and therapy approaches and their benefits to create a demand for products.  Provide post sales education, troubleshooting and support and complaint resolution to promote early identification of customer issues, ensure correct use of equipment, drive consumable sales and ensure customer satisfaction  Attend conferences and other industry events throughout Canada to educate the market about relevant products and/or therapies  Visit customers in conjunction throughout Canada with sales team to assist the sales process and gather information about customer requirements.  Maintain expert knowledge in product/technology to provide assistance to the sales team  Maintain successful relationships with the sales team to facilitate marketing activities and sales operations.  Manage, develop and conduct seminars throughout Canada with customers to support and promote products Respiratory Sales Specialist Responsibilities (Regional)  Present and sell company products to current and prospective customers  Establish new relationships with clinical professionals to grow accounts and territory sales results  Develop sales and territory management plans in conjunction with the Sales Manager and distributor representatives in order to ensure resources are focused to achieve sales plan and maximum market impact  Complete and delivery marketing presentations to all applicable customer groups to introduce the client products and therapy approaches and their benefits to create a demand for products.  Resolve customer inquiries and concerns through professional discussion, negotiation and conflict resolution to ensure acceptance of products and customer satisfaction  Install equipment for clinical trials of the client products, educate hospital employees, and remedy any issues or problems in order to ensure acceptance of products  Interact with hospital regulatory, compliance and technical departments to ensure all compliance barriers are overcome, when necessary

Specific knowledge

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Demonstrated skills in standard computer applications including Microsoft office as well as CRM systems  Bachelor’s degree and Active Clinical License (RT)  Ideally 3+ years medical device sales experience (or related medical sales field)  Knowledge of hospital sales market requirements; knowledge of respiratory and related markets preferred.  Negotiation and presentation skills
