Description

Our client, a leading global medical company. The Company serves healthcare institutions, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, industry and the general public. 

The PAS Clinical Specialist (CS) is an expert in phlebotomy and the pre-analytical phase of patient care.  This individual is responsible for building relationships with key organizations, providing a comprehensive package of customer-valued solutions and services, providing clinical support for conversion management. This role is also responsible for managing Technical Services and Product Incident Report (PIR) investigations for his/her region.  Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Clinical Specialist will work closely with the Pre-analytical Specialists, account management team, marketing and key customers to differentiate their products from competition.

Specific knowledge

EXPERIENCE

  • Medical Laboratory Technician or Nurse designation;

  • 3+ years Laboratory experience or related experience;

  • Phlebotomy certification and training experience an asset

  • 3+ years commercial roles such as applications, technical support, or sales in the clinical laboratory market.

  • Experience providing solutions to laboratories and/or nurses and other clinical personnel

  • Candidate must be bilingual (French/English) both written and oral

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills – strong team player

  • Speaker at regional conferences to promote excellence in phlebotomy practices.

  • Travel within the region (up to 40%)

  • Driver’s license

  • Exemplary process knowledge of specimen collection and product utilization within a healthcare facility

  • Strong clinical laboratory skills with increasing ability to articulate healthcare economics and patient impact
