Health Economics and Value Messaging Specialist

Our client is a Montreal based pharmaceutical company with a great pipeline. They are looking for a Health Economics and Value Messaging Specialist. The responsibilities are the following: To enhance product life cycle management by ensuring sound health economics/outcomes justification of the value proposition, both at the time of product launch, and post-launch where necessary, in order to optimize market uptake. To work with the Health Economics and Outcomes Research group, in the development, implementation, and reporting of pharmacoeconomic studies, provide strategic input into clinical development and phase IV outcomes research and potential disease management initiatives for the Canadian marketplace. To support the development of Brand and Patient Access strategies by defining, differentiating and communicating the key value messages to both internal and external customers.
Specific knowledge
"â¢Post-graduate level training in Epidemiology, Health Economics or Public Health/Health Policy.â¢Sound understanding/working knowledge of health economics and outcomes research methodologies. â¢Experience in developing health economic models, program evaluation, and outcomes research alongside randomized clinical trials and/or observational databases.â¢Working knowledge in model-building software (e.g., Excel Visual Basic, Data Tree Age and etc.).â¢Advanced knowledge of regulations governing health economics and reimbursement in the Canadian marketplace.â¢Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.â¢Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to partner with internal and external colleagues and able to work in a multidisciplinary environment. â¢The ability to initiate action, gain commitment, and work independently with minimal direction.â¢Fluent in English; bilingualism (French, English) is an asset."
