Manager Market Access- Quebec
Description
There currently exists an opportunity for a seasoned private and public reimbursement professional to develop and execute reimbursement strategies to facilitate rapid market access to the company products in Québec and Atlantic Canada. It is a rare and exciting opportunity to get in on the ground-floor of a respirology biopharma leader as it begins operations in Canada. Reporting directly to the Director, Market Access and Reimbursement, the successful candidate will develop, organize and direct all regional market access and government affairs activities of the Company to ensure the successful reimbursement of Company products (within established policies and procedures ) in Québec and Maritime Regions. Areas of oversight include payer relations and negotiations, with a focus on Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec, and private payers, patient advocacy group development (e.g. Canadian Lung Association and its provincial divisions such as l’Association pulmonaire du Québec, Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation), health care professionals advocacy development, government and industry relations liaison (e.g., Rx&D), and to fully participate in and contribute to the development of the Canadian introductory pricing (e.g., PMPRB), pharmacoeconomics (e.g., CDR) and commercialization strategy.
Specific knowledge
Qualifications : • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in market access, government relations or advocacy in the biopharmaceutical industry, with an in-depth understanding of public policy development, the reimbursement environment and legislative and regulatory processes. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, g overnment, policy or related discipline • Project Management skills and experience •Fluently bilingual (French- English) both orally and written. • Excellent communication and presentation skills (in English and French) • Ability to work competently in MS Office software programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint • Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally (up to 40% of time) • Must work well in both a team environment and independently
