NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage sales representatives:
• Distribute leads and establishes time frames
• Verify follow-ups on leads within stated time frames
• Request reports on leads activities
• Assist in developing objectives
• Verify weekly reports
• Verify weekly plan reports
• Check account client profiles
• Ensure that timely follow-up calls and visits are made to prospects
• Assist in recruitment, selection and hiring of new representatives
• Assist in review and implementation of accounts plans
• Assist in presentations
• Assist in customer visits and demonstrations
• Assist in development of proposals and tenders
• Establish contact with existing clients
• Spend 3 to 4 days per week on the road with representatives
• Conduct face to face quarterly performance reviews
Training and coaching:
• Assess the level of product knowledge per representative
• Provide regular basic training program
• Monitor selling skills and product knowledge and provides feedback on a regular basis
• Identify sales opportunities
• Provide skills training on a regular basis
• Introduce new products
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (CONT’D):
• Use database and lists to target key prospects
• Develop motivation and incentive programs
• Respond to tenders, bids and proposals
• Attend trade shows, seminars and other engagements
• Gather competitive information
• Develop relationships with buyers, users, bio-medical and any influencers
• Establish good relationships with suppliers
Specific knowledge
We are looking for a Medical Sales Manager with experience in the Canadian Medical market.
Bilingualism will be an asset!
