Description
The position is based in Montreal. Territory: Downtown Montreal, West Island, North Shore, Ottawa.
Role includes the launch of a new indication. The position is responsible for the institutional management and subsequent access to the product in centres of the territory. The role will manage sales operations at the customer, hospital and university level. You will be required to work within a cystoscopy suite/operating room setting and be available to train and advise customers and their support staff while maintaining sensitivity when interfacing with patients.
Specific knowledge
The ideal candidate will possess experience equivalent to a four-year University education with emphasis in science and/or business. The candidate should also have a minimum of five years sales experience, in urology or a hospital based pharmaceutical or medical devices with comfort working in a teaching hospital environment. Preference will be given to candidates with urological medical device experience. A strong understanding of Canadian pharmaceutical business practices is necessary.
The candidate must possess strong scientific selling skills with the ability to build strong relationships. Ability to make presentations to groups. Well developed organizational and project management skills with the demonstrated ability to problem solve is required. Only fully bilingual candidates will be considered for this position.
