Description

Under the general direction of the District Manager, the Training Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Fee for Service training functions for the province of Quebec. The Training Manager will be an expert in private and regional government payer policies and ensure that the field team comprised of Field Case Managers (FCMs), Fee for Service and Abbott representatives have all the necessary tools and role responsibility understanding to work together to assist physicians and patients. The Training Manager develops and provides access to the various documents and tools needed for the Fee for service role. The Training Manager works closely with the National Trainer in ensuring that the proper documents are being used across the entire field team. The Training Manager conducts a Needs Analysis and develops and implements training programs aimed at enhancing the Fee for Service job knowledge. The Training Manager conducts routine field visits and provides ongoing training and coaching for the field team on a need basis. (Contract position - one year)

Specific knowledge

• Bilingual • Experience in developing new tools • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar, generally obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree program • Background in healthcare settings • Normally requires a minimum of three (3) to four (4) years experience in public or private third party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or related experience including at least three (3) years as an In-Clinic Case Manager. • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structure, systems, and processes. • Experience with reimbursement billing, special access, appeals process and conducting field-based reimbursement support and consultation. • Ability to travel extensively (50%)
