Account Manager diagnostic or medical

Our client, a leader in manufacturing capital equipement for the hospital evironment is looking for an Account Manager based in Calgary to cover the Western Region (BC, Saskatchewan and Alberta).

The account manager will be responsible for achieving the territory sales goals by maintaining and growing the revenues of the current customer base and developing new business opportunities in a highly regulated market. Main activities will be to visits all hospitals and private laboratories within Western region.

Travelling is approx 40-50%.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• University degree (Science or microbiology an asset) or a College degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
• 3+ yearsof sales experience in Medical or diagnostic
• Proven success in sales 
• Very good communcation skills
• Good knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel,Power Point)
• Territory management skills
• Positive attitude
• Business acumen
