Clinical Educator – Eastern Canada (Bi-lingual) Job Description Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Clinical Technologies and working in co-operation with the sales and service teams, this position is responsible for providing technical sales and service support to end-use customers for automated endoscope reprocessing systems ,endoscopy systems, and related consumables/accessories in a clinical use setting. Where appropriate, involvement from pre-sale, site qualification, installation, and initial/ongoing in-service to ensure optimum system performance and customer satisfaction. This position involves travel to customer locations within Eastern Canada. • Provide product education to customers. This includes clinical validations, advanced concept education, and in-service education. • Provide proactive problem solving and timely follow-up of customer issues. Identify and utilize available support resources (i.e. technical services, customer service, sales and marketing). • Conduct all in-services in conjunction with the assigned field service engineer (FSE) and appropriate territorial manager, with routine follow-up within ten working days to validate customer use satisfaction and any outstanding issues. • Working with sales and marketing services, research and communicate competitive information to all appropriate CMI personnel. • Develop and maintain clinical competency in GI endoscopic procedures, and the relevant infection control standards associated with their use/reuse. • Assist in the development of educational and/or market support tools for field (customer) and in-house use, with emphasis on developing effective customer clinical use documentation. • Assist sales and marketing management with the development and implementation of marketing programs and product launches by communicating clinical benefits associated with product use. • Represent the client via attendance and/or participation at local and national trade and professional meetings appropriate to responsibilities (i.e. CSGNA, CDDW, DDW, CHICA). • Maintain a CSGNA membership and actively network with executive and other members of this and other professional associations i.e. CHICA • Develop and maintain a database of hospital users and profiles
Specific knowledge
A nurse or a clinical specialist in endoscopy would be ideal for this position. Bilingualism is a must. Superior conditions.
