National Business Development Analyst
Description
The National Business Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the NBDM Team in the execution and achievement of account objectives for all assigned National Accounts. This person will be responsible for providing account analysis on POS information, pricing and post promotional reviews. The NBDA should be the resource that provides market insights on sales and promotions enabling the NBDM Team to function at a strategic and topline level. Responsibilities: - Participates in the annual Key Account Strategic Review process to assess Key Account Performance. Provides analysis and support for recommendations to Senior Sales and Divisional Management for the appropriate focus of investment and activities. - Provides ongoing tracking of the company and Competitive promotions for all National accounts and submits monthly summaries with recommendations to the team. - Supports the implementation of the BDP's through the handling of some administrative tables and charts with assigned accounts, communication of the plans and course corrections to the rest of the division, analysis of completed programs with recommendations. As well as managing and tracking trade investment budgets for the account(s). - Development of proactive and reactive analytical support/problem solving of brand/key account issues and opportunities that promote the company products through effective category management with attendance and presentations during account calls where necessary.
Specific knowledge
"Desired Qualifications:-Ability to work with in a team environment-Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the sales area of a consumer packaged goods organization-University level undergraduate degree preferable, with a concentration of courses in business -Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to understand ROI analyses and manage budgets-Strong verbal and written communication skills for a fast paced team environment-Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint-Functional knowledge of SAP, AC Nielsen would be an asset-Demonstrated ability to maintain keen sense of detail"
