Our client is a fast growing generic, Montreal based, company. They are looking for a Product Manager. The Product Manager’s main objective is to manage the overall sales and profitability of the assigned product(s) in relation to the stated forecasts and objectives for the fiscal year. In managing the portfolio, the PM’s main objective is to work with other departments and external suppliers to develop and execute business strategies for the mandated product assignment: produce and implement the consumer/trade advertising, merchandising programs and sales support tools necessary to achieve the set targets for the mandated product(s). In addition, this individual must evaluate consumer market trends and monitor competition and retail trade practices relevant to the assigned market segments, and develop strategies intended to outpace the specific markets. This person must and works closely with both internal (Finance, Manufacturing, Market Research, Purchasing, Medical Information, Strategic Information) and external (specialists in Marketing Research, Advertising Agencies, Packaging Design/Manufacturing, Sales Promotion, etc.) resources.

"The ideal candidate has the following:University degree in Science / Business Financial knowledge Computer skills // Microsoft Office Excellent French and English skills (oral and written)Consumer Marketing skillsIMS Basic Audit Training, AC Nielsen Audits, PMB Audits, Consumer Media KnowledgeEXPÉRIENCE / EXPERIENCEThis position requires providing strategy and tactics, Fiscal responsibility as well as forecasting and inventory management for assigned product portfolio Knowledge of advertising agency expertise & process + consumer media experience 2-5 years in the consumer package goods and/or pharmaceutical OTC .Advanced Selling Skills and experience in OTC healthcare A proven track record in consumer marketing and sales, background in market analysis, proficient in MS Office.Finding and developing new programsBuilding objectives, strategies and tacticsProven track record in delivering against commitments / objectives. "
