Description
The Specialist Analytical Development will be responsible for the supervision of analytical projects and activities of the analytical methods development team. He will also be responsible for the quality of the analytical project, including methods development, optimisation, troubleshooting and validation of the methods. He will participate to the writing and approval of scientific documents, will assist the supervisor in all daily activities, such as planning and distribution of projects as well as training of employees.
He will do all the troubleshooting, evaluate available documents ( DMF/TP, CPS, ICH,USP/BP/EP, organise all necessary studies such as dissolution, solubility, will have to present to management analytical development strategies. The position also includes writing of analytical documents, verification and approval of results, management of personal. Position based in Montreal.
Specific knowledge
Required education and experience:
B.Sc , Master or Ph.D in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacology with 3 to 6 years’ experience.
Knowledge of Empower, Excel, Solabs/LIMS, Agilent V-VIS, Chemstation, Spectrum, Chromeleon, Fusion Microsoft.
Leadership, excellent technical knowledge, and troubleshooting abilities, very good competency in management and planning, knowledge of GLPs. Bilingualism is required, French – English.
