Description

We are looking for for an Associate Director, Sales based in Montreal to provide regional Leadership and direction in order to develop and execute sales strategies that increase sales and market share This position, which reports to the Director, Sales, will manage 4 regional sales teams. The successful candidate’s mandate will include: �� Provide clear and timely direction to the regional team, implementing national and regional strategies, and settling goals and objectives �� Align the district sales teams with each other as well as other field personnel e.g. Medical Liaisons, Regional Marketing, Channel Marketing, etc. �� Establish regional goals, priorities and individual goals with staff. �� Liaise with key customers to develop strategic relationships and support. �� In consultation with appropriate stakeholders, develop and execute regional, district and territorial business plans that result in achievement of regional sales and marketing share targets for all assigned brands. �� Monitor Regional and District performance to assess current territory/district performance and to identify areas of opportunity and weakness. �� Evaluate appropriate use of regional resources to ensure attainment of profitability goals and maximum impact of regional programs. �� Ensure the effective and on-strategy use of promotional (marketing) programs �� Manage staff of the Region to achieve and/or exceed corporate sales targets. �� In connection with Director, direct the product, marketing and other training for the region. �� Monitor achievement of field productivity targets. �� Monitor and ensure compliance of field productivity targets, business ethics requirements, marketing programs and national sales direction.

Specific knowledge

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of progressivepharmaceutical/healthcare sales/marketing experience. In addition to having a significant record of sales accomplishments, the successful candidate should have marketing, sales training, and related experience. Along with a minimum of 5 years of first line management of managers, the incumbent must have demonstrated senior leadership abilities and the proven ability to drive performance through teams and the ability to align, motivate, and engage departmental and cross functional teams. Strong communication, decision making, analytical as well as planning and organizational skills are a must.
