Medical Sales - OR


The OR Specialist is responsible for  the promotion of the client specialise product line for the operating room.

♦ Responsible and accountable for achieving the sales and gross profit quotas for the territory, while keeping expenses within guidelines.

♦ Develop and implement business plans, sales strategies & sales funnel for the territory, in consultation with other members regional sales teams. Review, update and adjust business plans and sales funnels on a regular basis to ensure that they are strategic, effective and achieve annual sales quota.

♦ Constantly seek out new business opportunities and aggressively target competitive business franchises with a view to growing market share

♦ Develop and maintain a proficient knowledge of the assigned product portfolio, with specific attention to mastering focus products

♦ Develop and maintain strong relationships with client base to enhance the company’s image and promote the client values.

♦ Develop and leverage strategic relationships with key decision makers and influencers

♦ Interact with customers and participate in off-site conferences, symposia, in-servicing, training sessions and customer meetings which take place to drive and achieve annual sales targets

♦ Conduct & coordinate Professional Education activities by engaging and developing regional Key Opinion Leaders. Utilize educational activities (CPEs) and clinical detailing to sell the assigned product line into all assigned channels with all assigned customers

♦ Provide additional value add to customers through your role as clinical expert and consultant.





Specific knowledge


♦ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or clinical experience in the healthcare environment or equivalent preferred

♦ Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry; clinical experience considered an asset

♦ Demonstrates perseverance, determination and autonomy. Excellent planning and organizational abilities

♦ Solid business acumen and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively/productively on an individual or group basis

♦ Strong oral and written communication skills

♦ Solid computer skills (MS-Office suite)
