Product Manager Medical

Product Manager Medical Position summary: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position requires the management of all Marketing aspects of the product lines for the portfolio. To include marketing strategies and tactics, existing and new literature, clinical documentation, sales tools, customer education, and to ensure programs are developed to attain sales and gross margin objectives. Main functions: ♦ Develop marketing strategies, programs and promotional material for use by the business unit to attain sales and gross margin objectives. ♦ Assess market needs, provide direction for new product introduction, product line extensions and consolidation, and build brand awareness programs. ♦ Ensure educational and product training is scheduled on a regular basis for the sales force and in-house support departments. ♦ Provide timely forecast information for all product lines. ♦ Review contracts, tenders and RFPs in order to recommend pricing strategies based on market conditions. ♦ Network and liaise with Corporate Domestic and/or International Marketing to ensure efficiency. ♦ Assemble all new product information for Logistics and Product Data Integrity (PDIG), including initial stocking, sales forecast, product pricing and descriptions. ♦ Establish, maintain and monitor competitive products and activities including product and pricing cross-reference information. ♦ Work with Marketing Support Communications department to ensure proper visibility at major conferences. ♦ Act as clinical resource for product related inquiries. ♦ Support field activities for product presentations, evaluations, conversions etc.
Specific knowledge
Requirements: ♦ Bachelorâs degree, preference in Marketing. ♦ Three to four years experience in healthcare market or related market (consumer). ♦ Ability to communicate effectively. ♦ Good problem solving and decision making skills. ♦ Ability to adapt to change, to work through and resolve ambiguous situations and able to work independently. ♦ Strong organizational/prioritizing skills ♦ Computer software knowledge: Word, Excel, Access
