Summary of accountabilities

Reports to the Marketing Manager Reagents. Works with the Marketing Manager(s) to develop the annual PD Marketing Strategy and Plan. Fully supports and executes the annual PD Marketing Strategy and Plan. Produces annual marketing plan for a product group, product category or specific product. Manages the successful implementation of the marketing plan. Monitors monthly progress against plan and recommends corrective actions to ensure successful achievement of plan, as necessary. Manages marketing budget for specific product group, product category or specific product, in accordance to agreed latest financial plans.

 

 

Major accountabilities

Management of current or future reagents: assist the Marketing Manager in developing marketing plans. Implement marketing plans according to planned timetable. Manage forecasting process.

Support Account Executives with the tools, positioning and arguments to be successful with the products Manage life cycle of all system reagents.

Introduction of new reagents. Review product information to understand application. Research local competitive position. Develop positioning in local market with approval from Marketing Manager.

Identify pricing strategies by working with the sales team. Develop sales arguments and train Account Executives in product positioning. Develop promotional campaigns that support the positioning. Work with Sales and Marketing Managers as well as Associate Product Manager(s) to implement campaigns.

Manage life cycle of all system reagents including: Introduction of new products, implementation of pricing strategies, and dissemination of the technical and competitive information as well as the sales tactics to the sales team. Withdraw retired products and provide a transition plan for current customers. Provide forecast based on researched demand. Work with finance and materials  management to ensure sufficient stocks at all times. Maintain relationships and work with global marketing organizations to ensure smooth product introduction and support.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Specific knowledge

Employment Pre-requisites

Bachelor's degree in Science and/or Business

5 - 7 years of experience in Marketing or Product Management in Healthcare

Experience in sales will be considered as an important asset

French/English written and spoken
