Our client, a pharmaceutical company and a leader in his field, is seeking for a Vice-President Sales for the launch of a new divisionproduct for the Canadian market. The candidate will provide leadership and will develop and implement sales strategy. Monitor and analyze sales activities against goals and work closely with Marketing department to provide guidance. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate has extensive experience in launching new products. Is an experienced sales leader, strategist and business builder. He/she has proven leadership, a track record in growing and developing accounts in the pharmaceutical industry. He/she is an articulate communicator who can interact at all levels of the organization and will be able to establish his/her credibility. The company seeks an outstanding hands-on candidate with a strong business acumen. The successful candidate has the ability to move from the strategic level to the implementation effectively. Business acumen and influencing ability will be important in establishing credibility across the organization. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, confident, driven and articulate leader who interacts effectively at all levels of the organization, with an ability to forge high trust relationships. He/she will possess an optimal combination of the following: Providing strategic direction and guidance; In collaboration with other members of the team, prioritizing business objectives and initiatives to deliver maximum growth for the Canadian market. Working with the members of the executive team to ensure the effective development and execution of global division plans; Establishing performance objectives; evaluate performance; and identify opportunities for growth and development; Providing support and direction to the team in the development and accomplishment of goals and action plans; create a continuous improvement environment.
Specific knowledge
University degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration. An MBA is preferred; Ten years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position. Strong marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry. Strong sales management experience. Bilinguism.
